AFTERCARE
You just got your dream brows... now what?
You're excited with your new brows right? Great! Just remember to not touch the area with your hands to avoid bacteria and possible infection.
General Aftercare Below - can vary from person to person and will be addressed at the appointment.
Day 1: 30 minutes after session, wet a cotton pad with distilled water and gently dab brows. Repeat again before bed.
Days 2-4: Morning and night wet a cotton pad with distilled water and gently dab brows. Your brows are going to darken and thicken during these days but it is temporary and they will lighten 30-50% once healed.
Day 5: You will no longer be dabbing your brows. You can quickly rinse your eyebrows in the shower every other day. Gently pat dry.
During the scabbing process, you can use a spoolie to GENTLY brush and remove any scabs that are no longer attached to the skin and may be sitting on the hairs. DO NOT try to remove scabs that are still attached as this will affect your pigment retention. If your brows are itchy during this time you can lightly tap them for relief.
Understanding the Healing Process
Temporary darkening and fading is a natural part of the healing journey as your skin regenerates. Resist the urge to pick at any scabs or flakes that may form as this can disrupt the healing and pigment retention. Patience is key during this time as your brows will evolve into their final look. TRUST THE PROCESS, and remember, your touch-up appointment will address any faded areas, ensuring your brows remain flawless for longer.
Retention: Pigment retention including intensity and colour tone is specific to each person and can vary depending on after care compliance, skin type, skin undertone, hormones, metabolism, medication, medical conditions, lifestyle, and other factors. Some people may require additional or more frequent touch ups than others.
Quick Tip for Longer Lasting Brows: Once your beautiful brows are completely healed, make sure to protect them by applying sunscreen and avoiding active acids on them!
